Do More 24, Delaware’s Largest Giving Day, is designed to help nonprofits earn money through donors. Organized jointly by United Way of Delaware and Spur Impact, a 24-hour fundraising marathon will be broadcast during this year’s giving period from Thursday, March 7 at 6 p.m. to Friday, March 8 at 6 p.m.
Ocean Waves Quilt Guild is participating!

If everyone gives at least $10, our Guild has an opportunity to earn more in cash prizes and other grants donated by more than 25 sponsor organizations from across the state.

We will have a 5-minute spot during the broadcast on March 8 at 11:55 a.m. so tune it to watch during that time at or to learn more about this effort:

                  OWQG Accepts Donations of fabric, quilts, patterns and notions

There are two ways we can use your donated item(s);

1.  Community service projects - our members will use your donated fabric to make comfort items for the many non-profits groups in the area to distribute to those under their care or in need.  Contact: Marilyn White

2. Our Second Time Around team will prep donated items and offer them for sale to our membership as a fundraising opportunity for the guild.

Contact: Barb Ignatius & Scott Samples

Either way, your donations are appreciated and welcome!  You can target where they go if you choose and can pre-arrange to drop off items whenever we are meeting at Conley's UM Church (see above).
