• Membership in the guild entitles you to a JoAnn's Discount Card. To get your card:
1. Go to www.joanns.com
2. Scroll to the bottom of JoAnn's home page and under Customer Service select "Discount Cards."
3. On the page for VIP & Non-profit Discount Cards, scroll down to "Enroll Now" and select.
4. On the next page, select VIP Discount Card and provide requested information. Be sure to include the name of the guild. Again, click "Enroll Now."
5. You will receive a confirmation that they have received your information at the top of the page. You will be told that the card should arrive in 3-4 weeks.
6. Once you receive your card, present it at the JoAnn's checkout counter, along with your current guild membership card to activate the card
• Your card will expire on August 31, 2012 and you must reapply for a new card at that time.

2012 Challenge - Dana Mason
• The 2012 Challenge will be a theme challenge - "Journey"
• Details will appear in the January newsletter and can be found on the projects page.
Plans are to add a "tips, tricks and favorite techniques" section to the resources page when the site gets it annual face lift in October. Have a technique you learned that makes a quilting task easy, a tip for simplifying assembly or getting perfect seams? Share the tips with others by submitting them to Dana, either via e-mail or in writing. Be sure to include your name and the source of your idea, if you know it.
Looking for a pattern, a book, an issue of a magazine, fabric, a resource, help with a project? Send your request to Dana Mason for posting.
