Ocean Wave Quilting Events
• Flea Market Table -
Members donate recyclable items (not necessarily quilting related) for sale.
Proceeds from Flea Market Sales go to the guild treasury.
Organized by Carol Fisher• Show & Tell -
Held at the end of the guild business meeting every month but June and November.
An opportunity for members to share completed works.
• Auctions
In house event, held twice a year to raise funds for the guild treasury
- June is a "Treasures" theme
- November is a Holiday Gift theme• Member Showcase
- Held in December, in conjunction with the guild's holiday luncheon, the showcase is an extended show and tell.
- Members share completed projects from the year's classes, challenges, pre-meeting demonstrations and other special events.
• Retreat - February 8-10, 2012
- A 3 day local getaway for members at the Virden Center on the Lewes campus of the University of Delaware - Marine Studies
- Includes a half day and a full day class with 2 projects, open to all members

- Held each May, the Tea is an opportunity for new members to meet Board members and committee chairs, learn about the workings of the guild, and get better acquainted with each other.
- The Tea is held at Lewes Presbyterian Church and begins at 10:00 a.m.
• Guild Bus Trips
- Offered to national shows held in the region.
- Shows are selected based on membership interest in attending
- Trip costs usually cover bus transportation, discounted admission

• Rehoboth Beach Museum - 2nd Annual Needlework Exhibit
- March 24 through May 6, 2012

• Quilter's Quest Shop Hop
- Sponsored by Maryland and Northern Virginia quilt shops - at least 10 participating shops
- Held annually the 2nd week in November - Wednesday through Sunday
- Prizes and fun activities at each shop
